How We List Surrogacy Centres: Our Data and Checks
Where our list of 762 registered surrogacy centres comes from, how we match centres to cities, and how often we update it.
Where our data comes from
Every centre on this site comes from the list of registered surrogacy clinics published on the National ART & Surrogacy Registry, run under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. For each centre we show the name, address, state and registration number exactly as the registry publishes them, and a link to the certificate the registry hosts. We last copied the registry on 6 November 2026.
How we match centres to cities
The registry lists a state for every centre but not always a city. We place a centre on a city page when it is registered in that state and its registered name or address names the city or one of its neighbourhoods. Delhi and Chandigarh pages include every centre registered in that state or territory. On the Delhi page, centres in Gurugram and Faridabad are shown separately because they are registered in Haryana.
If a centre's address does not name a city, it appears only in the full India list on our home page. You can always search the full list by state.
Why we do not rank centres
No government body ranks surrogacy centres, and we do not have the data to rank them fairly. So we list every registered centre alphabetically and explain how to compare them: registration, the medical team, the legal guidance they give and the written terms.
How we keep it accurate
- We copy the full registry list again whenever we update the site, so new registrations appear and removed ones disappear.
- We do not edit centre names, addresses or registration numbers.
- Anyone can report an error through our contact page. We check every report against the registry.
A listing is not an endorsement. Always open the certificate and confirm the registration number with the centre before you begin treatment.
