How to Choose the Best Surrogacy Centre in Delhi

Most Delhi centres are clustered in South Delhi, West Delhi and around Dwarka, so travel time often decides the shortlist. Because your certificates of essentiality and eligibility are issued by the Appropriate Authority of the state where you apply, ask early whether the centre has guided couples through the Delhi process before. If you live in Gurugram or Faridabad, the Haryana-registered centres listed further down may be closer.

  1. Shortlist by distance

    Pick three or four registered centres you can reach easily for repeated visits.

  2. Open each certificate

    Use "View govt certificate" and check that the name and address match the centre.

  3. Meet the medical team

    Ask who will lead your treatment and how much surrogacy experience they have under the 2021 Act.

  4. Compare the written plan

    Ask for the treatment plan, consent forms and the surrogate's insurance details in writing.

Who can opt for surrogacy?

  • Married Indian couple: woman 23–50, man 26–55, with a medical need certified by a District Medical Board
  • Indian widow or divorcee aged 35–45
  • Surrogate: ever-married woman aged 25–35 with her own child, once in her life
  • Altruistic only. Foreign nationals are not eligible

Are there registered surrogacy centres in Delhi NCR outside Delhi?

Yes. Some centres in Gurugram and Faridabad are registered in Haryana and are listed separately on this page. When we copied the registry it listed no registered surrogacy clinic in Uttar Pradesh, which includes Noida and Ghaziabad.

Which is the best surrogacy centre in Delhi?

How do I check that a surrogacy centre in Delhi is registered?

Ask the centre for its surrogacy clinic registration number and match it with the list on this page or the National ART & Surrogacy Registry. Then open the certificate and check that the name and address match.

Is commercial surrogacy allowed in Delhi?

No. Only altruistic surrogacy is allowed anywhere in India under the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021. The surrogate cannot be paid a fee; the intending couple covers her medical expenses and her insurance for 36 months.
